Adam Personal Finance

Terms of Use

Last updated 8 September 2026

In one line: a private tool with exactly one user, offered to nobody, providing no service to anyone else.

1. Scope

“Adam Personal Finance” is a private application operated by Adam Murphy (Dublin, Ireland) solely for his own personal use. It is not offered, sold, licensed or made available to any other person or organisation, and there is no public sign-up.

2. Permitted use

Use is restricted to the operator accessing his own payment accounts, which he owns and has authorised. No third-party accounts are accessed.

3. Nature of access

The application uses read-only account information services under the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2), through a regulated account information service provider. It cannot initiate, authorise or modify payments.

4. No service to third parties

Nothing here constitutes a service, product or offering to any third party. No fee is charged, no account is provided to anyone, and no data belonging to any other person is processed.

5. No advice

Any figure, summary or projection the application produces is for the operator’s own information. It is not financial, tax, investment or legal advice, and is not a substitute for professional advice.

6. Accuracy

Data is provided by banks and by an account information service provider. It may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Balances and transactions shown are not a statement of account, and the operator’s bank records remain authoritative.

7. Availability

The application runs locally and offers no uptime commitment to anyone. Bank consents expire periodically and must be renewed, during which time data may be stale.

8. Liability

As the application is operated by and used exclusively by the same person, no liability is assumed to any third party. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
